In the offshore engineering and oil industry, a polyurethane offshore hang off clamp usually refers to temporarily hanging equipment or pipelines in a certain position during drilling or subsea operations, such as hanging operations on drilling platforms or temporary hanging during subsea pipeline installation. In deepwater drilling, when an emergency requires disconnection, the drilling pipe will be hung on the blowout preventer, which is called "hang-off."

Environmental corrosion resistance

Salt spray and chemical corrosion resistance: The polyurethane formula is resistant to seawater and oil and gas acidic media (such as H₂S), protecting metal structures from electrochemical corrosion.

Quick installation and maintenance

Modular interface: Polyurethane components are connected by snaps or bolts, supporting quick replacement and adapting to emergency repair needs.

In-situ repair capability: Local damage can be directly sprayed with polyurethane repair agent without disassembling the entire structure.
