Philson grouted hang-off clamps help secure medium and high voltage power cables to the top of a monopile, jacket or foundation/cable deck of a rig.

Grouted hang-off clamps provide structural support between the riser or umbilical and the external J-tube. The system can also be equipped with a sealing module to provide full sealing capability to the annular space between the riser and the J-tube. Top hang-off come with a continuous housing that is pre-installed before the riser is pulled in. Providing a stable, long-term solution for high voltage cables in dynamic marine environments.

Grout-filled 

• Purpose: Provide a strong and permanent bond between the cable and the hang-off structure.  

• Design: Chambers are filled with epoxy resin or cement-based grout to securely lock the cable in place.

Grouted cable hang off is likely to be used with bend limiters in dynamic environments (such as floating platforms), and likely to be used with bend stiffeners in static environments (such as fixed platforms).
