Subsea electrical cable floats are ideal for large diameter armored cables and umbilicals. Dredging floats are designed to handle the stress caused by cable bending. Pipeline dredging floating  are used to allow subsea oil offloading hoses to rise to the surface to prevent damage from movement of floating hardware above. These polyurethane elastomers provide maximum grip to the inserts, a snug fit, and allow the cable to bend to its minimum bend radius without damaging the cable or buoyancy.

Modular subsurface buoyancy are made up of two halves. Lightweight dredge hose floats feature a hinge and latch system to allow for frequent handling and retrieval during operations. Bolt-on floats are designed for long-term deployments such as deepwater moorings. Clip-on connectors are designed specifically for our small cable float products to provide maximum buoyancy per unit. Floating dredge hose can be filled with closed-cell polyurethane foam of varying densities, depending on the hydrostatic pressure the float needs to withstand.

The polyurethane foam is highly resistant to air or water leaks and the float will not sink even in the event of an accidental rupture of the outer shell.

Dredging pipe foats provide low drag distributed buoyancy modules for a variety of offshore applications. These dredging floaters are available in a variety of sizes, three different connection methods, and inner diameters suitable for a variety of cables, making them one of the most versatile buoyancy products available. All cable buoys have depth ratings ranging from 750 meters to 6000 meters.
